Sometimes in trying to demonstrate impartiality, Lib-Progressives eliminate race, ethnicity, and creed from debate when, in some cases, it is at the very heart of it.
The idea that social justice inequities are fundamentally color-blind issues of class struggle is woefully wrong. In fact, class marginalization almost always takes place along racial, ethnic, and credo lines –– at the level of the working class and poor at least. Money talks more loudly for “equality” than moral persuasion, it would seem.
I am puzzled by the Huffington Post elevating Andrew Breitbart to authentic journalist status, as if he is a respected voice of conservative values candor. Even Fox News has thrown him under the bus. Balanced journalism does not equate with skewed prejudicial bias and purposeful disinformation.
Interesting timing though: The Huffington Post was acquired by AOL Feb. 7, 2011. Now Andrew Breitbart graces—I use that term sarcastically—their home page. Hmmm.
Update: On March 1, 2012, Andrew Breitbart collapsed while walking in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA. He was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he later died. He was 43 years old. [An autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office showed that he had cardiomegaly and died of heart failure.]

According to CorlorOfChange.org, “The Huffington Post is giving a platform to Andrew Breitbart—the man who attacked the NAACP and took down Shirley Sherrod with lies and race-baiting.”
ColorOfChange would like for you to demand that The Huffington Post stop promoting his work now.
