On top of Trump and ilk’s national – or lack thereof – COVID-19 response, we have this senseless inhumanity described in a Washington Post story. This virus has really exposed America’s ugly underbelly.

We People of Color have always known it through our ancestors and personal experience. The white liberal intelligentsia has taken all this time to figure out that the ghosts of racism and and ethnic hatred have never left us. The "Yes We Can” varnish couldn’t contain the rotten wood beneath it.
