Shades of Belief

Sunday, May 17, 2020 7:59 PM

Beliefs, like shadows, are shapes produced by a body coming between rays of light. Is that body conjecture, indirection, misdirection, or the entrainment of faith? Conspiracies to be true must rise above all of that and hold their own in the light. And therein is the rub regarding Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s conspiracy condemnation of House Bill H.R. 6666 – Covid-19 Testing, Reaching, And Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act.

This bill sponsored by Rep Bobby L. Rush [D-IL –1] is: "To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19, and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other purposes."

What RFK Jr.’s gripe is, I cannot fathom. It just doesn’t hold water for fact-based denunciation. I’ve read the whole bill, and it seems cut and dried — no hidden agendas or unconstitutionality as being leveled on his site. Go figure!

See for yourself.
